You do ...Amy,

Visiting your blog is always a treat. You do such a very nice job with it. I am happy to see so many people sharing what you have to offer, and vice versa. The "community" feel is neat. I wish I could visit more often. Ditto for your sister Mary's. The only time I have computer availability is at work and most days I just don't have the luxury. I never use Mom's laptop at home. That is where I could take time to "drop in" more often. We have plans to get a "joint" desktop for us both, but don't know when that will happen.

I haven't told you as often as I should have, but I am very proud of you and your values, your world view, your Motherhood and the beautiful young woman you have and are becoming! In talks with my friends I often refer to you and your sisters as "women of substance." I mean simply the things you care about are things that "matter."

Who would have thought my preppy and dainty little Amy, who once wanted only the newest of all things, who wouldn't walk through weeds if they were taller than her ankles, and whose acid-test for restaurants was "I want to go somewhere where 'people' go!"...........who would have thought that, as her Mom and Dad before her, she would someday fall in love with the "ancient ones," the ones who came before, the lonely ones......whose voices and memories are whispered across neglected, rock-strewn fields where they once lived and flourished, among the trees, stirred to remembrance by summer breezes and winter gales, whispers echoing across the ancient cosmos which saw it all from before time ..............who would have thought my dainty Little Amy............................! Wow! You've come a long way baby!

Love, DadAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-1165636658766046022006-12-08T22:57:00.000-05:002006-12-08T22:57:00.000-05:00salina- i have to thank photoshop for some of that...salina- i have to thank photoshop for some of that vividness! :) my camera doesn't quite capture the colors on its own!bluemountainmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04297693762079368522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-1165636068839756292006-12-08T22:47:00.000-05:002006-12-08T22:47:00.000-05:00Wow!
