I think the same can be said for the original garden - those roots also go deep into our souls when groan and long to "go home" again.

Happy unpacking and settling in again.Halfmom, AKA, Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03545176965972986964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-53743739120797698742007-08-04T07:02:00.000-05:002007-08-04T07:02:00.000-05:00thanks, rosie, for the advice! i'll also have to h...thanks, rosie, for the advice! i'll also have to hit you up on how to make the birdhouses with them....bluemountainmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04297693762079368522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-56753326053013691792007-08-04T00:01:00.000-05:002007-08-04T00:01:00.000-05:00Okay, so the fresh baked bread and churned butter ...Okay, so the fresh baked bread and churned butter made my mouth WATER!!! It's a messy business since they drain a lot of moisture and there is mold involved...and stinkyness. But I'm going to let them sit a bit longer this time since last year they didn't dry so good.

Enjoy your goatie visitors, but try not to feed them. They are dreadful freeloaders and will decide to live on your porch if it is comfortable for them.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10264435407129343604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-38665854273289375322007-08-03T07:48:00.000-05:002007-08-03T07:48:00.000-05:00anna....i've been thinking of you! please let me k...anna....i've been thinking of you! please let me know if i can help in any way. i wish we were closer....bluemountainmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04297693762079368522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36704170.post-86178437943344970222007-08-02T23:11:00.000-05:002007-08-02T23:11:00.000-05:00I am so happy for you. He is so fortunate to be able to experience your family roots.
Hope you get settled soon.
After a month and a half we are still rummaging through some boxes and redoing things. It just never seems to end. Its all worth it though. Hubby and I are so content and love our home and being near our son and family again. Now if the other son was in California too, it would be perfect.photowannabehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11760961275666768173noreply@blogger.com
