Seneca Spring.....
This was just one of the many beautiful Spring sights I saw in my travels this past week. The mountain roadsides were lush with Redbud, Dogwood, Phlox, and many other blooming trees and wildflowers. These lovely trees happened to be at the base of Seneca Rocks.... majestic in every season.
I'll post soon about the Dulcimer retreat..... after I unpack and unwind from my intensive, but fun week.

Gorgeous photo! I do hope you had a fun week. :-)
Gorgeous. Did you see the post on the Appalachian poets coming to the Floyd Country Store? Webb read a poem about mountain top removal and spoke passionately against it.
colleen- i'll have to come back over and read it. i just glanced through it. that's good to know.
i just went to a reading by anne pancake from her new novel 'strange as the weather has been'. it's about families affected by mountaintop removal mining. it really covers the human stories within the issue. i'm excited about reading it.
Wow! This is lovely!
How beautiful! The purple ones remind me of Scottish heather.
What a lovely photograph! Sounds like you had a wonderful week with sweet music and sweet visions like this one. I look forward to hearing about it.
Ooooo. We were just there a week or so ago, and the trees weren't as flowered out. Lovely!
You'll enjoy the Pancake book, I think. I liked it.
