Daydream Believer........
This candid shot was taken of Sir Laughsalot during a train ride through a nearby valley last weekend.
I think Momma is not the only Daydreamer in the family.........
But with views like this, how could one not be?

So beautiful! I love the colors in that top pic especially.
And by the way, you can enjoy daydreaming about your favorite fours by sauntering your way on over to my site . . . you have been officially tagged! :)
Oh a train ride! About my most favorite thing to do in the world. Nothing like it...it leaves you with time for those daydreams. Hope Sir Laughsalot liked it. Just beware he may get hooked on model trains like I did!!!
Love the name "Sir Laughsalot"...haha..makes me smile instantly..and dreamy landscapes for sure ..........there's sth abt trains and nostalgia....:)
Love the candid pic of Sir Laughsalot..do wish him a happy Sunday from my end ..:)
LOVE that pic of Sir Laughsalot. Like mother, like son, eh?
I think we need daydreams to stay a bit sane, don't you? :o)
for sure, kirsten! :)
What a wonderful way to spend a day:-). My hubs loves trains and wants to take the Dilsboro route through the mountains one day. Such a sweet photo of your wee one:-).
Have a great day.
kali- i've been on the dillsboro train several times. it's a nice one. i used to work in dillsboro when i was attending western carolina university.......
Beautiful countryside. Sir Laughsalot is a great name. I'm glad he's not Sir Whinealot, etc.
Although it is different subject matter, my second photo down today has almost the same angled line across the top that is in yours.
Indeed- our little apples really don't fall far from the tree, do they?
Very cute little curlies there- enviable locks for all the girls!
Happy early Mother's Day!
How fun a train ride! :) I am also a daydream believer. Have a wonderful week!
Finally back in town and catching up on some blog reading - certainly enjoyed the last few posts and pictures - I bet the music is a blast - like the blue of the mountains, I think it has it's own nook down deep somewhere in my soul.
Sir Laughsalot - what a wonderful thing to be able to say about your son - my daughter - soon to be 23 - has laugh lines already - not so good for lines on your face, but what a way to come about them!
I looked at your brother's painting - I think he's a quilt designer in disguise.
Love the scenery, love the shot of Sir Laughsalot and love the shot title. Guess i love everything about it.
Thanks for your words about Josh! The fire part was funny.
Keep daydreaming!
Yayyyyy! Childhood and spring and the great and beautiful creation all captured in one post!! What an amazing little boy!
The candid shot is a lovely study in repose. Makes one want to be a kid again.
