You lookin' at me???

My parent's neighbors keep llamas, mountain goats, and donkeys on their mountain land. The animals thoroughly enjoyed the snowfall, too, choosing to stand out in it instead of seeking shelter. This particular guy was very curious about me and my camera......either that or he thought I was bringing food.

I'm not an expert on llama personalities, but they seem a little like cats to me.....somewhat aloof and come to you on their terms. This one didn't want much to do with me.

This is my favorite shot...... hanging out and enjoying the view........maybe even having some deep, contemplative llama thoughts. Ahh... a llama after my own heart.......

Beautiful Llama footage. It looks like something out of a postcard there in your mountains. I love the snow and the trees. (We live in the plains.)

How cute! We met our first llamas back in the fall when we climbed Mt. LeConte in the smokies, the llamas were used as pack animals for supplies to the mountaintop lodge. They seem very friendly and curious! Beautiful snow shots too!
