I reject the notion that summer is any way superior to its seasonal yang. Without winter, ther eis no spring. Without spring, there can be no summer.

Huh. I just saw that quote for the first time this morning -- and here it is again. I think that's totally me this winter. This is the first winter I can ever remember not hating. Haha, that's surprising, considering the temp tonight with windchill is -49 (-56F)!!!! Anyway, I LOVE your picture and music selection as well! (I grew up on bluegrass)

valleygirl- -49!!!! ugh!!! well then it's balmy here in comparison...

anonymous assclown- yes, one could reason it that way. i prefer the moderate seasons of spring and fall.

Terrific black and white shot. there is such a calmness to it. It would look great enlarged and hanging up on the wall.

That shot actually makes winter look pretty. In Minnesota our snow is dirty and crunchy -- it has just been too cold for the pretty snow.

Great photo!

Blessings, Beckie :o)
