Thanks so much for the offer for Winston. We have found a rescue for him to go to in Chatt. and he will be traveling on Sunday. I don't know that he would be a good outside dog--he seems to have been inside as far as we can tell. But thanks so much!

anil- it IS that kind of road...that beckons one to keep following it to see what's around the bend. there are lots of these roads in appalachia. driving country backroads is one of my favorite things to do.
