That's a keeper, to be sure. Beautiful imagery. That swing looks so lonely!

I bet that's a wonderful spot to be in at Spring-time.

Beautiful picture. I want to sit on the swing for a while.

I like the photo. I love your pictures because they are so familiar. I live in East Tennessee, so I love the Appalachian mountains with you! I love trees and the woods, and what I love about the mountians here are the rolling hills along side of them.

This is a wonderful shot. It should be the cover of a book.

rebekah- eastern tennessee is beautiful. i drive through there every time i go to visit my family in western NC. there is a little town called erwin right at the base of sam's gap(before you go over the mountain to asheville) that i adore. my car broke down there once and the people were so friendly and helpful. i used to go on business trips with my dad to johnson city a lot, too.

I love this shot. It gives me a really peaceful feeling...playthings resting and waiting for the return of summer.

love the composition...........i dont wanna bore you with poetry every time i come here but i can't help it if your images/words remind me of some of my fav. verses!!!!

This one's from RL Stevenson...and i have loved it right from my childhood days!!!! it's a poem right after my heart, Blue.....hope you like it :)

How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall, Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown--
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

A tire tied to a tree always makes me feel at home.
